Make-A-Wish® Canada works with communities across the country to provide children with critical illnesses the opportunity to realize their most heartfelt wish. This organization is a part of the largest not-for-profit wish granting organization in the world, serving 30 countries with international affiliates on five continents. Since inception in 1980, Make-A-Wish® has helped make 187,000 wishes come true for children around the world. Make-A-Wish® in Canada consists of eight regional Chapters and the Canada Office, which is located in Toronto, Ontario. Their mission is to grant wishes to create hope and happiness for children with life-threatening illnesses across Canada. Make-A-Wish® exists for one purpose - to fulfill the special wishes of children who have a life-threatening illness.

BC Children’s Hospital and Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, agencies of the Provincial Health Services Authority, provide expert care for the province’s most seriously ill or injured children, including newborns and adolescents. Based in Vancouver, BC Children’s and Sunny Hill reach across the province with vital health services that may not be available anywhere else in B.C. We provide specialized training in paediatric health care and work with renowned researchers to achieve better health for children and youth. As academic health centres, BC Children's and Sunny Hill are affiliated with the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and other education and research institutions.

Cause We Care Foundation is a Vancouver-based registered public foundation that raises money to assist frontline organizations that support local single mothers and their children in need. Since 2007, together with generous donors and volunteers, they have assisted single mothers in need in the Lower Mainland through a variety of outreach and funding initiatives. Cause We Care Foundation looks to a mother and child’s potential future. A future that includes a more fulfilled, empowered and independent life. A future that offers opportunities for successful positive change by breaking the cycle of poverty.

Sunrise Family Services Society is an Accredited Body under the Hague Adoption Convention and a B.C. government-licensed adoption agency with offices located in Vancouver and Victoria. They deliver services throughout the province and can help women across Canada wishing to place their child for adoption in British Columbia. Additionally, children in many countries throughout the world need homes and love. Sunrise is passionate about finding safe and loving homes for those children who would otherwise not have a family, and passionate about helping families realize their dreams of parenting.
